How respite works

A one-off break, a regular pattern, or cover during illness or a family emergency
Planned in advance or arranged at short notice where we can safely do so
The same familiar care worker wherever possible, so the change feels small
Everyday support kept exactly as it would be: personal care, meals, medication, company

What we agree before we start

We meet the person and learn their routines, likes and worries before the first visit. Cover works best when the care worker knows the kettle's odd trick and the story behind the photos on the wall, so we take the time to get it right.
